Pill Bottle Dispenser for Low Vision Individuals

Older adults with low vision struggle with accurately dispensing medications from their containers. These patients are typically on multiple medications and need to correctly dispense, identify, and take these medications twice per day.

Problem Statement
Solution

A 3D-printed attachment that is made for a certain pill size and a particular bottle size. This attachment consists of a curved funnel with a holding area above the curve's neck. Once this attachment is inserted into a bottle opening, it effectively turns the bottle into a single- or controlled-dispense pill dispenser. The dispensing mechanism is done by flipping the bottle upside down for a moment and then upside up (as seen in the video).
